DIY Wedding Suite Template Art Deco Save the Date

In this Affinity® Designer tutorial, we will create the Save the Date template for our DIY wedding suite. We will start with the finished wedding invitation template, ArtDecoInvitationTemplate.afdesign, which we created in a previous tutorial. We will remove the text that we used for that invitation and replace it with the text for this template.
One special Affinity Designer feature that we will use in this Save the Date design is the Text on a Path. We will place the Save the Date text on a curve at the top of the canvas (see screenshot).
As we did for the wedding invitation template, we will be using the script font named Dancing Script and the Sans-serif font named Montserrat. Both fonts are open source and free on Google Fonts.

Invitation notice
As with the invitation template, this template has placeholder text. You will want to change the placeholder text for text specific to your wedding project. And don't forget to change the letters in the monogram (see screenshot).
