Lara Croft decides to leave everything behind in search of her long-lost father, Lord Richard Croft. There’s danger at every corner when she finds herself at her father’s last known location—a legendary island near Japan that is the home of a mysterious tomb. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Tomb Raider”.

· Lara is at the police station when Anna arrives. They’re talking and in the view of Anna when she says, “there’s an inheritance waiting for you”, her arms are crossed in front of her, holding her black bag. The scene cuts to a wider view of the two when Lara replies, “I won’t…” and Anna’s arms are down, with her hands and purse near her lap.

· Vogel is talking to Lara after she’s shipwrecked. She’s eating peaches from a can while he’s talking. Lara has a piece of the peach in her right hand. In the wider view (rear right side of Lara), when he comments, “I can’t go home until my work on the island is done”, Lara’s right hand is empty. It cuts to a close-up of Lara and she’s holding a piece of the peach in her right hand again. They hear the explosions a few moments later and Vogel gets up to investigate. Both of Lara’s hands are holding onto the can of peaches. When she goes to get her backpack, the can is gone.

· When Lara falls into the river, the bandage on her right arm has a blood stain seeping through it. It’s gone when she is climbing on the rusted airplane overlooking the waterfall. The blood stain is back and the bandage completely clean when she’s holding onto the ledge with her right hand inside the plane as it begins to fall.

“Tomb Raider” (2018) stars Alicia Vikander, Dominic West, Walton Goggins, Daniel Wu, and Kristin Scott Thomas. It runs 119 minutes and is rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action, and for some language.
