Pet Sematary II
· Clyde takes Jeff’s cat and runs off. He and the other boys are racing on their bicycles with Jeff chasing them. The far view of the boys on their bikes shows Clyde has both hands on the handlebars. He looks behind him and the scene cuts to a close-up. His right hand is still on the bike’s handlebars, but his left hand is holding the kitten.
· The local kids are in the Pet Sematary on Halloween night. Gus storms in and the kids begin to scatter. There’s a front view of Gus as he walks in where he yells, “boys better not be drinking” but his lips never move.
· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Zowie, Drew’s dog, kills Gus at the Pet Sematary. Drew and Jeff drag him up to the burial ground and push him in the hole they’ve dug. As they begin to cover him with dirt, the close-up of Gus’ face shows his eyes flinch.
· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Gus kills Clyde with his motorbike and returns with a body bag. The front view of Clyde as Gus is walking up to him, shows both of his eyes are shut. In the close-up, after Gus tosses the shovel on the ground, Clyde’s left eye is open. Gus rolls him into the body bag and both of Clyde’s eyes are shut. The left eye is open again when Gus starts to zip the bag.
“Pet Sematary II” (1992) stars Edward Furlong, Anthony Edwards, Clancy Brown, Jared Rushton, Darlanne Fluegel, Jason McGuire, Sarah Trigger and Lisa Waltz. It runs 100 minutes and is rated R for strong horror violence, and for sexuality and language.
