Forensics or forensic science, is the application of scientific practices which aids law enforcement in the process of locating and collecting evidence at crime scenes, which is processed in labs.

Ballistics Expert star
A ballistics expert studies bullets and projectiles found at a crime scene to determine what type of weapon it was fired from and what kind of projectile it is. They can also determine from what angle and the trajectory the projectile was fired from.

A blood spatter analyst is crucial at a crime scene where there is a lot of blood present. This forensic scientist can tell a lot about a crime by analyzing blood and the pattern of blood spatter that is present.
